Alright, sorry to be absent for so long! it’s been a very busy april…and end of febuary! So i beleive that the  best way to summarize the last few  months is with the aid of a few pictures!

So sometime last month, dad had a work related accident. He was on a track and going up a set of stairs that was under construction and the stairs collapsed while him, ryker, and another officer was on them. it was a twelve foot free fall to the ground before the staircase landed on top of them. Ryker sprained his neck, but other than that had no serious injuries, and the other officer sustained minor leg injuries as well.  Dad probably had the very worst of the injuries, and even that could have been much much worse. I’m not sure if i can explain it just right, but he broke his shoulder. Two pieces off the ball broke off and he tore his rotator cuff completley off as well as some other things. He is out of his sling now, and in Physical therapy working on gaining some movement back in his arm, and doing some office work until he can get back to work. Looks like he is going to be fine in the long run, and we got some pretty awsome pictures of the bruise he had on his arm just after it happened.

This was after it started to heal up a little bit!! Still looks pretty painful to me!

He loves to play out on the deck with cameron and the three of us will have spitting competitions to see who can win. Of course we all know who owns at those competitions.

i really do love the scenery of where we live. It’s been sunny more often and the sunsets have just been gorgeous. I’ve been trying to get some good scenery pictures with our camera, but i’m considering investing in a real good camera and taking up photography as my new hobby.

It's amazing the beauty you can capture behind the lense of a camera if your patient.

The boys somewhere along the way have aquired these great little frog things. They look like a real frog and they are stuffed with sand or something but they get a real kick out of sticking them to the ceiling and laughing when someone jumps five miles in the air as they fall to the ground in front of an innocent guest.

There is froggy number one waiting to jump whoever ends up standing under him.

Ah, and the long awaited picture I promised so long of go of Jacob!! Haha he rarley ever lets me take a picture of him, however I finally talked him into THREE!!!!

Now, granted i was having a lazy day and was lounging in my band t-shirt, I still think the picture turned out decent.

One day I hope that Jacob can be enlightened to the fact that good pictures ARE possible, if you only let someone take them!

For this picture Jacob flew solo! I know!!! It's a miracle!

Another amazing thing happened a few weeks ago that i’m surprised we caught on film…or rather a digital camera. We saw the most amazing rainbow. i’ve never seen a rainbow so bright in my whole life!

After the rainstorm, there is always a rainbow. A very beautiful one at that!

It really amazed me how bright that rainbow was! absolutley breathtaking!

It seems that i may not be the only one in our family who really enjoys music! Cameron adores playing on the piano, and now that he has just turned the lovely age of two, we are quickly approaching the age where he can start to actually play! okay…maybe not, but one day, he’s gonna be famous.

He is already starting to use his musical gifts! what a smart kid he is!!

Did i mention he is also going to be famous just for being so gosh darn cute???

Antoher two members of my family that we havent gotten caught up on are my mom and ashely! My mom has been working one day a week at a local deli, and she has been loving it. It gives her some time to herself and also to see one of her friends as they work together! Ashley has been workin a lot, but we still find time to hang as she drives us into school everyday. She is such a blast and i love her to death! When me and ash, and mom get together we tend to be a little silly, so we got some great pictures of poor ashely as we teased her hair into a fro while she crashed on the couch. Enjoy…me and mom did!

The afore menioned fro! Ashely is such a good sport when it comes to everything! she just laughed and let us hairspray it so that we could freak her mom out when she got home.

We all have so much fun together, and we like to laugh and joke around. I love my mommy...she's the absolute best!! <3

Sorry I havent written in a while. Once finals came around my schedule suddenly got ten times busier!! Now i’m playing catch-up on life and sleep! Making it through my first year of high school finals was definatley one of the more stressful things on my journey towards adult hood, but they turned out alright. However I figured I would give you a catch-up on the family!!

Wendy: Mom has been busy as usual carting us kids around! She did however get a job once a week at a small cafe down the road from where we live. She really enjoys it! She get to work at the register and make food and interact with people her own age instead of kids all day. This should help cure her Cabin fever a bit, and give her a break once in a while.

Aaron: Dad has been busy with work, and helping out mom when he can. He recently has invested himself in finding the boys the perfect bunk bed! He searched high and low for a good bed and then a comfy matress! He finally succeeded a few days ago, and I have to say myself he did find a really amazing bed! The boys are totally loving it!

Aidan: Aidan is busy as a bee! Of course…whats new? Aidan is totally loving school and had his first sleep over not too long ago. He and Cameron are getting along better and better everyday! one day, they are going to be so much trouble together, so Mom is trying to enjoy the times before she has to go pick them up at the principles office. He has outgrown the BMX stage and now we’re looking for another thing for him to get involved with!

Cameron: Is growing like a weed! He is talking more and more and makes us laugh so much everyday! He is going to be a troublemaker though, that much is clear! He does stuff he knows he shouldn’t and then tries to give you that cute little smile that makes you start to re-think punishing him!

As for myself, the only big thing on my agenda is Solos and Ensoumbles. This year should be an interesting one…so we’ll see!! I’ll let you guys know my scores when I get them!!! Other than that I have just been hanging with friends and Jacob and the family, while trying to keep up with school!!  Well talk to you soon!! Peace and Love! <3

More girls camp!! we got pretty tan during our five days at camp! The weather was SO amazing! Made camp that much better!

Through all the good times and the laughs, the bad times and the tears I know my familiy and my loved ones are there for me! As the holidays come to a close oh too soon, it become that dreaded time of heading back to school. back to homework, and late night studying and no sleep..woot. woot. haha anyhow though, the time spent with family over the holidays was nice, but i guess it was nice to have something to do other than sleep and eat and be teenager. however come finals week in roughly twenty days i’m sure i’lll be taking that back! Well, other than going back there isn’t too much to update on! i’ll write again soon! Peace and Love <3

I woke up this morning to the redheaded ball of energy that lives in my house bursting through the door screaming ” IT’S TIME TO OPEN PRESENTS! COME ON! COME ON!”. Even though no one with the exception of my mother was awake, aidan felt the need to make sure the whole house knew he was up and ready to open up presents. Mum brought out the video recorder and the boys tore open their presents and we all got to play with our new toys all morning. Aidan got a new train set, a bouncy house, and some other little toys and small things. Cameron got a few books, and some clothes, and a very warm comfy fleece blanket. My parents got new coffee mugs, some new bowls and towels and other grownup presents. As for myself, i received a new printer for my laptop, wireless internet, a very gorgeous jewelry box, some crystal figurines from jake, THE CUTEST jacket from my uncles fiance, and some other little things.  We have had constant family around over the past few days and it has been a very warm and happy house. All in all a very nice christmas this year. Peace and Love <3!

Sorry, i haven’t written in a while, i’ve just been crazy busy….as usual!

Wendy!: so my mum has been pretty busy trying not to tear her hair out staying home with the kids, however she is still alive and our family has never been in better care! She’s always getting us kids to where we need to be and is just amazing in general!

Aaron: So dad has been busy with work and making sure we’re completley prepared for this incredibly cold weather we have been having (did you know about two days ago it was colder here than it was in anchorage alaska?!?! BY FIVE DEGREES!!) Dad officially turned 38 this month! He’s almost over the hill!!! ;D Both mom and dad attended the memorial for the Four Lakewood officers who were killed. My mum said it was a beautiful service with about 20,000 officers and family members. Canda even sent roughly 1000 officers of their own for support, while they remembered the four officers they lost not to long ago. We’ve been enjoying some family time since then and have just been grateful our family is all safe and healthy.

Aidan: He is now in kindergarten, and officially turned 6 this month as well. He is getting much too big and needs to stop growing. he stands just a few inches below my shoulder, and i’m beginning to get afraid that i’m not going to be able to take him down soon, and i’m going to be the one pinned to the ground. maybe i need to go and invest in a squirt gun or some other kind of nifty defense system.

Cameron: Is about 18 months now, and is also much, much too big! He will be two in april, and is the cutest little boy you have ever seen! He loves to talk and he is a big dancer and climber. We can already tell he is going to cause about half of my mums gray hairs. He’s just crazy and him and aidan are just trouble!

Myself: I have been up to a lot of  school, and pep band, and trying to get in some family time and see jake when i can. i’m very much so looking forward to having two weeks off of school!! I also got the great news that there is a chance jake might be transferring to my school, so that’s very exciting!!

I know that thanksgiving has not even passed yet, but I am definatley getting into the christmas spirit!! I’m finding all my christmas CD’s and movies and I am anxiously awaiting being able to decorate the house in holiday cheer. Christmas has got to be my favorite holiday. Every seems to get a little nicer (with the exception of scrooge) the world gets a little whiter,and in my opinion i think christmas just brings people together! Along with christmas comes winter vacation, wich i cannot WAIT for! the break is going to be much needed! School has been extremely intense the past few days, with many in-class essays, and tests.However I survived and am a littley antsy to get my grades back! well, got to go study for another test!! As time consuming as marching band is, it really is an amazing experience. Nothing really beats the feeling you get when your coming off that feild at night under the lights knowing that you just played a kick butt show, there isn’t a way to describe how cool it is playing a night show under the lights, and having that solitude and that feeling of it being just you and the feild. There are many that can appreciate the beauty of a good marching show, but it’s a whole new thing being part of it. The sense of family that’s provided you can’t find many other places, and the musical experience is mind-blowing. While loosing many hours of my life to intense practices and exhausting all day competitions, i’ve gained so many new life experiences and met so may new amazing people.
